Peachtree NORML Welcomes New Board of Directors
ATLANTA—Peachtree NORML is pleased to announce the appointment of it’s new Board of Directors, effective immediately. Returning members include Amber Howell as Secretary, and Justin Jones in his new role as Deputy Director. New members joining the board are Dr. Jannah Rasul, who will serve as the Science & Medical Affairs Director, Cara Endriss as Treasurer, Rick Davies as Director of IT, Dalene Clack as Director of Fundraising, and Corey Lowe as Executive Director.
“We’re excited to bring fresh perspectives and renewed energy to the organization,” said Peachtree NORML Executive Director Corey Lowe, “Our goal is simple: when we’re talking, we’re winning. We are committed to educating the public, offering support to those affected by injustice, and getting back to grassroots advocacy.”
As part of it’s mission to advocate for cannabis consumers, Peachtree NORML will work to bridge the gap between the cannabis community and those who need education, whether it’s about medical cannabis, legal rights, or legislative changes. NORML’s mission is to move public opinion sufficiently to legalize the responsible use of marijuana by adults, and to serve as an advocate for consumers to ensure they have access to high-quality marijuana that is safe, convenient, and affordable.
Peachtree NORML is committed to honoring the legacy of Tom McCain and James Bell while advancing the movement for cannabis justice in Georgia. As a part of our revamp, we are excited to announce the return of in person monthly meetings and will host cannabis events in the coming year. We encourage everyone to stay updated by following us on social media or checking out our website.
