The Georgia affiliate of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) has released their Voter Guide for the 2014 Election, which can be viewed by clicking here.
Peachtree NORML is a non?profit organization with a state?wide reach, pursuing changes in cannabis laws in Georgia. NORML has added 6 new chapters in Georgia since February 2014. NORML encourages informed and active participation in our government.
In Georgia, there are no ballot initiatives and therefore residents are solely reliant on their elected officials to do the right thing and support the will of their constituents.
You may be surprised! If your candidates gave no response, call them and encourage them to take a stand, ask them the questions and let others in your district know where each stand. Make an informed decision as you exercise your vote. “With medical marijuana and marijuana law reforms of all types on Georgian minds”, says Sharon Ravert, Executive Director of Peachtree NORML, “it is time candidates look at each issue individually and make their positions known.”
