Gwinnett County: Contact Your Commissioners NOW!

The Gwinnett County Commission could vote TUESDAY 12/7 to decriminalize possession of <1 oz of cannabis.

The Commissioners postponed their vote last month, saying, “[We need] to get more consensus from organizations or folks that would be impacted if [we] decriminalize small amounts of marijuana.”

So, let them hear you.

Not sure what to say Here’s a script/sample email.

If you live or work in Gwinnett County: contact your commissioners and let them know you support reducing penalties and decriminalizing possession of cannabis. Ask them to support Carden’s change to section 66-3.

Please continue to share the evidence and your opinion with these Commissioners. These five individuals have the power to at least lessen the enormous injustices of the failed War on Drugs. Help them find the courage to do the right thing.
